Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
- Answer phone calls and take takeout orders
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent guest service
- Clean tables and carry trays of dishes back to the kitchen

Qualifications:

- Available most weekdays during the day
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Ability to handle high-stress situations in a fast-paced environments
- Ability to carry dishes and trays as well as be on your feet for long periods of time

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
