**The Role of General Manager**:
The General Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets on new and existing accounts. The General Manager will be working closely with direct reports in order to coach them to a high standard of sales skill and product knowledge. The individual in this role is directly involved in bid/RFP strategy, overseeing key account renewals and negotiations, strategic price increases and maintaining top level relationships with strategic customers.
We are looking for dynamic, driven and customer oriented individuals who will;
- Driving the sustainable, profitable growth of the branch (top and bottom line) in both the traditional core businesses and in new areas and geographies
- Effectively Develop and lead the Sales team
- Ensure the branch is able and equipped to perform at the highest possible levels by following the Company’s policies, processes, disciplines and
accountabilities
- Ensure all Operating and Sales processes are fully and effectively implemented
- Maintain the highest professional standards with respect to accounting, budgeting and cash flow
- Ensure effective financial systems and reporting disciplines are followed
- Ensure the Branch can benefit from the best talent it is able to attract and that Employee Engagement, Satisfaction and Capability are the focus
