**Responsibilities**
- Support all learning and development projects
- Work closely with the Learning and Development Manager on the delivery of learning and development tasks
- Create micro-learnings from existing and new education content
- Proactively identify gaps in learning supports and develop solutions to address them
- Ensure that learning solutions support our brand and have a positive impact on member experiences
- Keep abreast of sector trends to align learning with current sector conditions and enable strategic responses within an evolving environment
- Engage and work with focus groups to support the development of new workshop areas
- Use all levels of evaluation and regularly seek feedback from members to assess learning effectiveness
- Facilitate workshops occasionally and act as a peer coach support to member organizations
- Other duties as required by the senior management team

**Is this you?**
- A degree in a discipline related to adult education an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience working with principles of training and education
- Familiarity with leading practices in adult education principles and instructional design to develop educational programming.
- Current knowledge of new developments, trends and research in organizational and leadership development, and change management.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety and/or the continuing care sector is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Articulate 360 an asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Enjoy working with a small and dynamic team.
- Self-confident and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability for flexible workplace with a mix of in-office (Burnaby) and remote work.

**Additional Information**
The Provincial Health Officer has mandated that anyone entering a care home in British Columbia be fully vaccinated. There will be times that our team will be expected to visit care homes to engage in activities that support our members. Vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccination series approved by Health Canada is a condition of employment at SafeCare BC.
