PET INDUSTRY CAREER POSITION

WANTED: animal lover/capable handler with eye for dog photography and social media management abilities. Unique position for the right person with a variety of skills.

We are a full service upscale pet boarding facility located 10 minutes south of Leduc. Our facility is different from most in that we don't mix our guests - we do no group dog play. You must have reliable transportation to our rural location.

You are outgoing and friendly and work well with other or on your own. You have experience photographing dogs (hobby ok) and understand the basics of file/photo management & storage. You navigate the world of Facebook and Instagram and could introduce us to Tiktok. You must be comfortable with all sizes/breeds of dogs and have the fitness, energy and enthusiasm to run and play with them for their action filled photo sessions.

Current opening is for 4 shifts (8am - 4pm) per week. Mon/Tues and Fri/Sat.
Flexibility to cover other staff if needed for a 5th shift per week would be good. We are always busiest on weekends and especially busy during the holiday seasons (summer and Christmas) - we need all our staff available for those peak times.
**NOTE**: you will be required to work 2-4 hours of each shift helping with variety of kennel chores

Job could be well suited to college student or recent grad. Hours could be adjusted to p/t in fall to accommodate a returning student.

Wage starts at $16-18/hr (experience dependent) with 3 month review and advancement/increase opportunities. Staff receive client tips, fair wage, and as much dog love and kisses as you can take
