P/t Dog Daycare, Boarding and Client Services

We're expanding our team Dog daycare and boarding is steadily busy, and we need another amazing person to join our team MUST be available weekdays throughout the day and with some weekend availability. There pay be potential for 30+ hours if interested.

**HOURS**:Up to 15-25 hours per week.
**VEHICLE REQUIRED** - Reliable transportation required
**MUST** be 18 or older with a valid class 5 driver's license.

**THE JOB**
This job is a lot of hands-on with the dogs, but also is a lot of cleaning and other care for the dogs. This is NOT sit-and-snuggle-with-the-puppies type of work (although there are perks of that). It's a physical hands-on job and every day is different and never boring

**SHIFTS**:

- Weekday shifts can begin as early as 5:15 am or end as late as 9 pm. (not on the same day, of course)
- Weekend shifts begin as early as 6 am or end as late as 8 pm (also not on the same day, of course)

We are in the service industry, so peak times include all the times off that people normally want. Holidays and weekends are our busiest times, and we need people available to work. Expect to work some stat holidays and during holiday seasons.

**LOCATION**
Paws Pet Pad is located in Leduc.

**MUST LOVE PEOPLE AND DOGS**
This position has a lot of client-facing interaction, so a love of both people AND dogs is required. Caring for our people clients is as important as caring for our dog clients.

**THE JOB**
- This is a job for a special kind of person. You MUST love dogs and be willing to learn latest training theories, body language, behaviour....all that there is about dogs, you'll need to learn it and love it.
- You must care about cleaning and maintaining exceptional standards and you must love interacting with clients. It's a fun job, but a lot of work as well. Be prepared to work hard, but be part of the best team ever And we have the most important job in the world...caring for people's dogs.

**WAGE** This position begins at minimum wage during training, with advancements based on performance, education completed, and tenure. There is room for advancement in seniority and pay.
