**Transdev Canada is hiring a temporary Payroll Clerk for HandyDART Vancouver (18-month contract)**
**Your role**
- Process and produce accurate payroll for over 600 unionized employees.
- Perform regular data entry and quality review of payroll information in payroll system ADP WorkforceNow.
- Input new employee details and schedules into ADP systems.
- Identify and notify managers of potential payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payroll corrections for timely entry into ADP.
- Distribute pay statements to employees.
- Generate and submit reports for Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) and other regulatory entities.
- Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance by keeping records and files organized and up to date.
- Support the team with additional duties as required.

- Hourly salary of $35.23/hr, increasing to $38.89/hr in January 2025

**Your profile**
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation completed or near completion.
- Strong understanding of payroll functions, the BC Employment Standards Act, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience with payroll systems, preferably ADP.
- Experience managing payroll in a unionized environment.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments.
**Your location**
- This is a temporary, unionized position located within our Surrey operation.
- This is a full-time role from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an unpaid 30-minute lunch.
