**Director of Wellness - Ottawa, ON**
Are you you a RPN who is a collaborative and inspiring leader looking for a change in scenery, then this is the opportunity for you We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our client's management team within their Retirement Home.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Wellness is responsible for the management of all aspects of nursing care within the home to ensure quality resident care through the effective and efficient delivery of established standards within legislative and budgetary requirements.

*Key Responsibilities and Skills:*
- Oversee the delivery of resident care including infection control, staff education, and orientation.
- Oversee the quality management program for the Nursing Department, ensuring required outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure standards of resident care and services are consistently achieved.
- Assume the Administrator's duties in their absence.
- Hire, orientate, evaluate, and educate staff; participation in matters surrounding union contracts.
- Oversee the development/management of the nursing department's budget.
*Job Requirements:*
- Current RPN in the province of Ontario
- Minimum 2-3-years of Nursing experience in the Retirement, LTC or Hospital sector preferred.
- Minimum 1-year of Management/ supervisory experience in the Retirement, LTC or Hospital sector preferred
