Our dynamic real estate office is looking to **expand our casual/on-call receptionist coverage pool** with reliable and professional individuals who can provide front desk support as needed. **About the Role**:
As a **casual receptionist**, you’ll step in to cover shifts during staff absences such as vacations, sick days, or busy periods. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and delivering exceptional first impressions to clients, visitors, and colleagues.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Direct guests appropriately and notify staff of arrivals
- Answer, screen, and route phone calls accurately
- Take and deliver messages promptly
- Maintain a tidy reception area and kitchen space
- Manage logbooks, paperwork, spreadsheets, and other office procedures
- Assist the Office Manager with administrative tasks
- Support the overall team and contribute to day-to-day operations
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist or front desk role
- Proficiency with computer systems and office software (e.g., Google Workspace, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and adaptable with a team-oriented mindset
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset
