**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

Social Media:
Coordinate day-to-day social media activities including planning and implementing an editorial calendar, creating content to support daily posts and responding to consumer inquiries on all property-based Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus)

Interact with hotel friends and fans, influencers and bloggers to cultivate engaged Social Communities, offer customer service and drive SEO and referral traffic

Implement brand-appropriate, on-property social prompts to engage hotel guests in conversation throughout their stay

Implement two Social Media-based campaigns for Bisha Hotel Toronto throughout the year

In collaboration with Director of Sales and PR team, analyze and interpret monthly Key Metric reports provided by the Home Office to evolve and improve ongoing strategy and tactics

Use social media to identify trends, problems and areas of opportunity to positively impact the guest experience

Ensure consistency of messaging across all social networks

Spearhead the hotel’s Social Circle and meet regularly with the Social Circle Team Members to create a diverse and relevant content calendar

Assist in monitoring review sites and develop appropriate responses, in conjunction with hotel Operations Team. Submit request for reviews to be removed/disputed, as necessary

Public Relations:
Assist Director of Sales and PR team during events as needed

Attend events as needed to cover for social media posting

**Qualifications**

Excellent written and oral communication (including proofreading)

Strong organizational skills

In depth knowledge of social networking channels

Editorial creativity

Experience/degree in new media, journalism, public relations and/or marketing preferred
