The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies. The Financial Services department is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and strategic individual for the regular full-time position of Project and Budget Analyst. Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the Project and Budget Analyst is responsible for financial planning, budget analysis, and project management activities. The Project and Budget Analyst supports various projects within the department, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Responsibilities include analyzing budget data, preparing reports, identifying areas for improvement in policies and procedures, forecasting budget requirements, and monitoring financial management functions. **QUALIFICATIONS** Applicants must be/have: - Post-secondary education in finance or a related program, plus at least three years of progressive accounting or financial operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience building, analyzing and presenting budgeting and forecasting. Experience working with the backend of financial management systems.- Project management experience or project management certification. - Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or enrollment. - Experience using an ERP system such as Workday.
