**SUMMARY**
At Flaman Fitness, our stores are the engines that drive our business. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading multiple locations in Ontario (Brantford, Burlington, Stoney Creek, Woodbridge) which include teams of store managers, sales, service, warehouse, and delivery representatives. This individual must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with sales, staffing, profit and loss, and managing multiple retail locations. The Regional Manager is someone with strong business acumen who can collaborate with leaders to maximize sales revenue and execute sales goals for your region. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, and motivate store managers to create and maintain a high-performance team.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide leadership to your region - overseeing the stores and retail activities. Support store managers in overall customer experience, managing complaints as they arise.
- Meet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales revenue, gross margin, and operating profit. Achieve financial objectives by preparing regional-wide budgets, monitoring/approving expenses, analyzing variances, etc.
- Review and analyze regional sales and operational reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new customers.
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Collaborate with store managers to develop sales goals for each store, monitor progress toward those goals, and develop strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Oversee inventory levels and monitor trends across your region.
- Maintain knowledge of markets, competition, and best practices and trends in in the industry. Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them.
- Develop marketing programs and promotions to increase sales and/or introduce new products and services. Ensure stores are following merchandise and visual presentation standards.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in your region; strategies, policies, goals, and other resources to maximize productivity and morale.
- Promote and role model a culture of positive customer service to everyone, every day.
- Ensure all stores within your region promote a culture of safety first by ensuring stores are clean and safe. Ensure all stores within your region are compliant with OH&S standards.
- Ensure proper communication within your region and with the other regional manager. Schedule regular store manager meetings/calls to share and distribute information, to review sales reports, to set and revise goals, to ensure consistency and best practices, and to increase morale.
- Visit your stores regularly and provide feedback to the store managers on all areas of the business.
- Recruit, hire, and train store managers. Create and oversee staffing within your region, implement individual development plans, set productivity and performance standards and metrics for each store manager. Complete and deliver performance evaluations yearly. Schedule and conduct quarterly conversations.
- Create and maintain an environment of consistent and continuous coaching.
- Collaborate and strategize with the other regional manager.
- Succession plan for all store manager positions and ensure the stores within your region have succession plans for all key positions.

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, attending classes, and participating in professional groups.
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail, delegating tasks to a team
- Experience within the fitness industry preferred
- Strong math skills required to calculate and track your region’s profit
- Problem solving and multitasking skills, especially required in high stress situations
- Ability to manage conflict
- Strong customer focus with emphasis on building and sustaining relationships
- Proven track record for achieving targets and delivering on strategic and measurable objectives
- Highly self motivated with the ability to motivate others to succeed
- Strong knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards
- Technologically inclined with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to travel extensively within the region, and, when required, outside of the region
- Ability to work under pressure, react to constant change, plan personal workload, and help lead others to manage and plan their priorities by setting a standard of excellence
