About The Role
The Operation Manager is responsible for revenue recognition processes for laboratories and for Compass and scheduling tool governance for Laboratory Sciences Laval via management of operations coordinators. The Operations Manager also manages forecasting revenues and KPIs for Laboratory Sciences. He/she liaises with all senior laboratory management, other sites and other departments as needed for all inter-department harmonization or collaborations needed.

What You'll Do Here
- Manages and optimizes revenue recognition and forecasting process for Laboratory Sciences Laval and interfaces with US sites as needed.
- Ensures accuracy of revenue reconciliation of Laboratory Sciences work done on a monthly basis and appropriate information sent to finance.
- Optimize the utilization of Compass by Laboratory Sciences (eg. interaction-with other groups, templates).
- Ensures change orders are sent on time and are maximized and appropriately captured in forecast and monthly revenue recognition.
- Participates in special projects related to ERP where needed.
- Manages and optimizes KPIs for Laboratory Sciences Laval and consolidates information with US sites where needed.
- Evaluates trends and participates in investigations with relevant stakeholders to identify root cause for any KPI that does not meet set target. Determines and implements an action plan with the relevant stakeholder.
- Responsible for personnel management activities of assigned staff such as: scheduling, employee relations, training and development, providing regular support and feedback on performance, disciplinary actions and preparing and delivering annual performance and salary reviews.
- Responsible for ensuring the appropriate trainings are conducted within the group.
- Ensures adherence to departmental policies, practices and safety procedures.
- Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- University Degree in Biology or equivalent field. At least 7 years’ experience in medical or pharmaceutical regulated field
- Must demonstrate exceptional integrity, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project and operations management experience (PMP certification or MBA equivalent an asset)
- Organization; Leadership; Advanced GLP/regulatory knowledge and Problem solving skills
- Software: MS-Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word), Watson LIM
