**Do you have what it takes?**

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for helping to organize the flow of reinforced steel and related products through the GTA area rebar shops in order to meet customer demand and facilitate efficient operations. They will interact on a daily basis with customers and our shops to deal with conflicts and provide appropriate and timely resolutions to customer’s needs. Strong communication skills are essential in this challenging position.

**Core Duties**:

- Provide a high level of customer service by interacting with, and problem solving issues, to best serve customers
- Answer general telephone inquiries, regarding the rebar division products of Salit Steel
- Receive customer orders and advise customer when material will be available
- Post schedule board and updates with customer delivery details
- Receive information from the Production Superintendent and/or Lead Hands regarding order progress
- Schedule and Coordinate the efficient delivery of materials with customers (building shipments to optimize weights and delivery times) in conjunction with the Trucking group
- Enter order information into database, as required

**Education/Experience**:

- High school diploma
- 3 + years of experience a Customer Service / Supply Chain / Logistics or Production Coordination role
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Experience in providing strong customer service
