The Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative works to support the company's customer base through working alongside the Regional Sales Managers and operations team, to ensure a streamlined experience.
- key in quotes quickly and accurately from customer purchase orders after receiving, send customer order acknowledgement, monitor open orders and provide customers with timely updates on order status or any delays
- work with RSM's and operations on large opportunities to determine correct pricing, lead times to quote, possible expedited orders
- ensure streamlined communication between engineering, production, customers and sales by coordinating with all departments when there are any order changes or processes
- keep up to date with sales training and product training, to ensure customers have all information of product lines available to make proper choices
- follow set processes to set up new customers
- answer phones, field questions about products, record complaints, transfer to different departments as required
- provide excellent customer service
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- problem solving skills and problem analysis
- manage time effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- strong attention to detail
- knowledge of material handling industry would be an asset
- experience with ERP software system, and Microsoft Office a must
- knowledge of French or Spanish would be an asset
