Responsibilities:

- Manage the front desk and greet visitors with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and generate reports
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
- Supervise and provide guidance to office clerks and support staff
- Oversee vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships
- Skillfully manage appointments with trucking companies, ensuring a dynamic and efficient calendar.
- Receive and record both emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch orders, and prioritize based on urgency.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in office administration or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and file management systems
- Experience in dispatching is a must
- Knowledge of vendor management processes is a plus

**Salary**: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
- Shipping & receiving: 1 year (preferred)
