Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a 315-bed academic and teaching hospital that provides specialized mental health, addiction and geriatric care. Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex, disadvantaged individuals in Ontario, and are the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in the province.

The Manager, Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (B), is currently seeking a Clinical Lead, Clinical Consultation. The purpose of the position is to provide clinical leadership in the implementation and monitoring of the Central North Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program. This position represents Waypoint, the Central North Network Lead Organization (NLO) in the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program (OSP), at clinical committees; and contributes to provincial clinical decisions about assessments, protocols, training and consultation. They will work to ensure the clinical services delivered within the Central North NLO align with provincial expectations with respect to clinical assessment, psychotherapy protocols, the stepped care pathway, training and consultation.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Prepare for, participate in, and represent the Central North NLO region at provincial Ontario Structured Psychotherapy clinical leadership meetings, committees and working groups.
- Translate provincial clinical and training expectations into achievable outcomes, and track and promote the achievement of training benchmarks for both consultants and therapists.
- Lead online CBT training modules and act as a facilitator for online training courses.
- Provide regular and ongoing consultation and support to OSP clinical consultants, intake team clinicians, and regional clinicians.
- Participate in the steering group that supports the Client Advisory Committee.
- Oversee the clinical aspects of the stepped care pathway and align them with provincial expectations.
- Update clinical consultants, clinicians, and managers on changes to clinical protocols.
- Ensure all Ontario Structured Psychotherapy therapists associated with the Central North NLO have regular clinical consultation at the frequency outlined in training guidelines.
- Provide guidance to therapists and Clinical Access Coordinators to follow the most recent provincial guidelines with respect to intake and triage assessment, as well as therapy, and support implementation and monitoring of the stepped care pathway.
- Collaborate with the OSP leadership team, clinicians, and management teams.
- Provide feedback, suggestions, and advice to the leadership team and the Provincial Clinical Lead; participate in regular meetings and collaborate with NLO clinical leads.
- Lead program evaluation, research, and/or quality improvement initiatives and offer clinical leadership to support to new initiatives.

**REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A doctoral degree in Psychology required.
- Registration as a member in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario required.
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience in the delivery of evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with documentation showing that they received formal CBT training and appropriate supervision.
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical leadership and consultation required.
- Additional training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) preferred and extensive knowledge of the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy program a benefit.
- Experience leading research projects and/or program evaluations.

- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to adapt readily to change.

- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills.
