**Leading and supervising a team of unionized workers to optimize safety, product quality and productivity in the Corrugated Operations**:

- Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with OHS standards; that workers are protected from any hazards and such hazards are identified and controlled; and workers use the prescribed safety equipment
- Maintain and enforce quality standards including good housekeeping protocols.
- Develop plans to ensure annual KPI objectives are achieved for safety, product quality, efficiencies and cost; providing direction and support to continuous improvement initiatives
- Coach and performance manage workers with emphasis on frequent communication, feedback and promoting a high level of teamwork and engagement
- Plan the effective and efficient scheduling of labour.
- Provide expertise and direction in the determination of equipment, parts and materials needed and coordinating preventative maintenance needs
- Foster strong relationships and communication with internal and externals departments and stakeholders
- Coach and enforce specific safety rules and behaviors ensuring timely and accurate reporting of accidents / incidents and proactive prevention measures
- Provide daily feedback to workers on performance and conduct performance reviews with direct reports
- Facilitate crew meetings to ensure current safety, quality and production related issues are considered and resolved
- Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- **Printing experience highly recommended for this role.**:

- **5 + years Supervisory or operations leadership experience within the Corrugated packaging sector is highly desired ; experience in a high volume manufacturing environment is a prerequisite**:

- **Supervisory experience in a unionized environment is preferred**:

- Strong communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills are essential
- Ability to organize and prioritize essential tasks to achieve results
- **Able to work rotating shifts as per operational requirements
