**Job description**
Welcome to Blüm: a newly-built modern licensed childcare facility in Tuxedo Park, that is now looking for an enthusiastic member of our Operations Team (with Daycare experience), with a start date of December 16th 2024. The role of Blüm's **Chef** is pivotal in providing nutritious fresh meals to the registered children at Blüm Childcare Academy, along with a sparkling clean environment.
Chef duties will include menu review, preparing fresh and warm meals like soups, smoothies, and pasta, and serving to all age groups in appropriate dishware. This includes collecting all tableware and washing / sanitizing it.
Custodian duties also include sanitization and maintenance of cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes and tableware are properly washed, sanitized and dried, and keeping the kitchen space clean.

Core Qualifications:
- Experience with meal preparation
- Able to obtain Police clearance with vulnerable sector check
- Able to obtain First Aid + CPR training (up to date)
- Able to obtain Food Handling Certification
- Willing to obtain Level 1 Early Childhood Certificate

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English (and any other language is a bonus)
