Our student and new graduate programs offer a chance to explore Sun Life from the inside. You’ll make a difference in the lives of our customers and communities, while building the skills and experience that allow you to grow in a meaningful and rewarding way.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer student who is passionate about climate change and sustainability to join our team and support a range of climate change strategy and performance initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategy development and execution, research and trends insights, project management and communications.

**What will you do?**
- Support benchmarking of climate performance against industry standards and best practices
- Conduct research on a wide range of climate topics including decarbonization strategies, social and economic impacts and human health
- Support development of internal climate-related stakeholder communications including the preparation of presentation and reporting materials
- Compile and analyze case studies of successful climate initiatives, climate-related products, and external reports
- Assist in project management for enterprise climate programs and initiatives, including meeting organization and stakeholder engagement

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate level education preferably in sustainability or related discipline
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated individual with ability to act both independently and as part of a team
