Our talent division focuses on maximizing the potential of our clients, both endemic and non endemic, by developing their brand both online and offline with our industry experts. Tonbara clients enjoy brand relationships with Adidas, RBC, Amazon, Lululemon, McDonald's, Asics, Telus, Bauer and many others.
Our consultancy division works across sports and entertainment properties and with other industry businesses. We consult about brand, sponsorship and marketing strategies. Some of our clients include live entertainment venues, properties, WTA/ATP tennis tournaments, Formula 1 teams, alcohol brands and many more.
Our events division develops, manages events and drives brands through experiential marketing strategies. In addition, we provide staff to brands and other agencies across North America to implement their XM strategies.
Description:
**Responsibilities**:
Work with Senior Management to execute sales for our existing client roster
Develop, manage and nurture new business partnerships to accomplish revenue goals
Effectively communicate and present research to key stakeholders (agents and clients) across the organization and provide strategies to target new opportunities
Possess and present a solid understanding and track record of developing sound marketing strategies and opportunities that drive revenue
Act as a representative for an athlete when negotiating a new contract, contract extensions, or endorsement signings
Review market trends and the latest contract signings, make offers and counteroffers
Explain contract details to players while keeping the talent’s best interests in focus
Oversee talent marketing and Promotional Strategies
Assess and Sign New Talent
Scout/assess new talent and contact players seeking representation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience within the sports, media and sales landscape (ideally)
Proven experience negotiating commercial sales opportunities
Comprehensive understanding of established and emerging social platforms, and the tactics required to influence audience these platforms
Showcase intimate knowledge of marketing strategies and idea generation, to partner negotiations to program execution and ROI measurement
Broad knowledge of marketing, sales principles and practices, in sports, media and entertainment
Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results
**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance
**Salary**: $36,690.55-$90,595.39 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
