**Position Overview: Regional Operations Manager**

As a Regional Operations Manager, you will lead and support franchisees to ensure the success of multiple restaurant locations. You will oversee operations, provide guidance, and drive growth through coaching, financial analysis, and local marketing initiatives. Your leadership will help ensure each location provides legendary guest experiences and meets sales and operational targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Knowledge/Problem Solving**
- Quickly identify and resolve operational issues to maintain smooth business operations.
- Analyze P&L reports and assist franchisees in improving financial performance.
- Offer innovative solutions and seek input from team members and franchisees.
- Conduct performance assessments across dayparts during audits and recommend improvements.

**Leadership/Interpersonal/Communication**
- Lead franchisees in alignment with Edo Japan’s mission and operational standards.
- Provide coaching and support to franchisees to drive operational success and profitability.
- Conduct regular store audits, setting SMART objectives and ensuring follow-up on progress.
- Train and support franchisees in local store marketing (LSM) and guest service enhancements.
- Assist in opening new stores, ensuring operational standards are met.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Operations for goal alignment.

**Administration/Organizing/Planning**
- Keep an updated calendar with clear priorities and deadlines.
- Prioritizes workload effectively by prioritizing larger strategic initiatives over daily tasks.
- Minimize administrative tasks, focusing on strategic projects.
- Appropriately manages individual company incurred expenses.
- Document key franchisee communications, maintaining accurate records of opportunities, challenges, and progress.
- Seek out additional projects and business solutions to enhance franchisee performance and operational efficiency.

**Territory Operations/Financials**
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by supporting franchisees in creating and executing robust business plans for all locations.
- Ensure each location maintains stable and improving audit scores, with plans in place to address any customer service or operational challenges.
- Monitor and support franchisees in executing promotions accurately and on time.
- Ensure consistency in operations across all locations, with all franchisees adhering to Edo Japan’s policies and procedures.
- Assist franchisees in expanding only after demonstrating sustained success.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of proven multi-unit management experience, preferably in the quick-service restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire franchisees to meet and exceed expectations.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to manage group meetings.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Experience in local store marketing and promotions execution.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within regions and to corporate head office (Calgary, AB).
- Growth mindset with a commitment to learning and collaboration.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
