Event Sales Executive

Surrey, Canada VMD Decor Full time

Solicit new business through activities including but not limited to telephone calls and field trips.

Prepare call report' on daily basis.

Maintain contact with ongoing clients on a regular basis.
- 2+ years of hospitality experience
- Catering experience is an asset
- Event planning and promotions experience an asset - Digital and social media marketing an asset

**TECHNICAL SKILLS**:

- MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Canva and or various other design software
- Social media platform marketing

Support and participate in mass sales-generating initiatives including wedding shows, event planner associations, networking events
- Maximize revenue by up-selling contracted products
- Achieve individual sales targets and profitability goals
- Prepare quotes within client budget maximize revenue and meet customer needs
- Maintain a current database of potential clients and follow a regular communication cycle
- Communicate with clients, verbally and in writing, regarding event needs, facility questions and offerings
- Weekly reporting on leads, quotes and secured bookings
- Keeping event management software up to date with leads and quotes

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Event Planners & Managers: 2 years (preferred)
