**Clinical Instructor, Primary Care and Preventative Medicine**:
Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a 3-year term full-time clinical instructor position (with potential for renewal) in Primary care and Preventative medicine in the department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences beginning July 1, 2025 or by negotiation. The successful applicant must have a passion for veterinary medicine and a keen interest in coaching veterinary students for success in veterinary clinical practice. For 75% of the time, this individual will deliver clinical veterinary care within the Primary Care and Preventative Care service. This position will have a 75% clinical commitment and 25% formal teaching commitment. They will contribute to building of a healthy and diverse caseload for clinical learning. This veterinarian will ensure the development of a positive and vibrant team-based clinical service with excellence in client service. They will coach veterinary students as they develop competence and confidence in the key elements of the framework for competency based veterinary education. They will work to incorporate recent veterinary medical evidence-based advances and enhance the skills of undergraduates and technical staff. They must be a strong team player and be able to communicate and collaborate professionally with people of diverse backgrounds.

Salary bands for this position for the 2025-26 academic year are as follows:
Clinical Instructor: $74,789-117,629
This position includes a comprehensive benefits package which includes 6 weeks vacation and a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
