**Volunteer (Unpaid Position)**

**Job brief**

If you are a University or college student in Human Resources or have HR related experience we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

The HR Recruiter (Volunteer) reports to the HR Coordinator.

Commitment Required: 15 hours per week in a hybrid role. (Working in the office and from home) For a period of at least 3 months or longer.

You will support the full-cycle recruitment process for all positions involved with Latincouver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and update job descriptions
- Assist with the on-boarding and training process
- Manage HR data, reports, and documents
- Help in creating presentations and spreadsheets when necessary
- Possible presentations in schools and universities on volunteering opportunities in Latincouver
- Communicate with post-secondary schools and other non-profit associations to build our volunteer database and community outreach.
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Assist in other related activities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 days/15 hours per week for at least 3 months.
- University or college student in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- Proficient English communication skills, verbal and written
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Proactive and positive attitude with high levels of energy
- Computer literacy including proficiency of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Google platform (Gmail/Google Drive/Google Calendar, etc.)
