As a Catering Sales Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in the planning of their catering events. You will be responsible for taking calls, informing clients of catering options, preparing and updating catering orders. You will be expected to perform light administrative duties such as greeting clients, filing, copying, scanning, pulling payments, etc.

**Shuttle transportation provided for our valued staff to Bytown Catering main shop from various transit stations if required**

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing general administrative and clerical support including but not limited to; filing, scanning, copying, data entry, rental orders, processing payments, etc.
- Maintaining client catering services and coordinating with third-party vendors.
- Must speak English with Bilingualism being considered a huge asset
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook and Excel
- Background in the food industry
- Previous event coordination experience is an asset.
- Previous office experience is an asset.
- No college degree required, but relevant education is considered an asset.
- E-commerce knowledge is an asset
- Experience with Caterease is an asset
- Able to work events as required

**Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional and positive in manner.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

**Job Type**:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotational Saturdays
- Minimum 8 hour shifts

**Benefits are available after 3 months; including Medical, Dental, Vision.**

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON K1J 9H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Catering & Events Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
