**The Opportunity**

**Ancora Waterfront Dining & Patio’s **cuisine manifesto is hinged on sustainable seafood, while sourcing local and international ingredients, and draws inspiration from its Pacific Northwest surroundings. Understanding the city's dining evolution has inspired Ancora to create a menu that accommodates all of its diners' culinary desires, combining flavours and techniques which embrace several diverse cultures in a modern, yet approachable setting.

We are looking for a **Chef de Partie** at our **False Creek** location to join our group of world-class chefs.

**What You’ll Do**
- Ensure consistent food preparation and presentation of the highest calibre.
- Have a passion for food and the hospitality industry.
- Govern safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
- Keep up with industry trends.
- Partake in menu planning with the management team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What You Have**
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar capacity is an asset.
- A culinary school diploma is preferred, but not required.
- You're a born chef; you have superior technical and natural cooking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
- Team-player attitude; you thrive in a team environment and are an expert communicator in the kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently and in an organized manner.
- Availability to work in the morning, evenings, and weekends.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
