**About us**

EconoLodge Inn & Suites North Vancouver is a 95 room hotel located in the Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a dynamic individual to fill the position of a full-time housekeeping supervisor.

**Responsibilities**:
This position is responsible for being the main point of contact between the housekeeping hepartment and its associates, as well as all other departments in the hotel. This position will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities for thehousekeeping hepartment and working closely with the room attendants, laundry attendants and other departments.
- Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department and its associates.
- Lead and effectively communicate to the housekeeping team requirements of daily business.
- Ensure that all housekeeping team members are aware of new and current policies and procedures.
- Conduct guest room and public area inspections.
- Manage the housekeeping team schedule and daily labour allotment.
- Train new team members.
- When required, in the absence of adequate staffing levels, you will be required to clean rooms or help with laundry.
- Maintain proper lost and found procedures.
- Participate as a team player with all departments.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2-3 years proven housekeeping experience is required for this position.
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, assertive career minded individual.
- Proven multitasking abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to supervise, train and motivate associates.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. occasionally.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
