**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their osteopathic needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history.
- Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and promote self-management strategies.
- Engage in ongoing research to stay current with advancements in osteopathy and related fields.
- Participate in home care initiatives as needed, ensuring continuity of care for patients transitioning from hospital or acute care settings.

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification or licensure as a Manual Osteopath in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and medication administration related to osteopathic practice.
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred, particularly in acute care environments.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Epic or Cerner, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient documentation.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and research within the field of osteopathy.
