Details of the company -Global Citrus Group Inc is a privately held company that is in a growth period. We are located in Brantford, Ontario and are looking for the right individual to become part of our accounting/finance team.

Position: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Associate

The role will include AR/AP related duties but given the growth of the company, will also include analytics and numerous ad hoc projects. Responsibilities include entering vendor invoices, organizing check runs, creating invoices to customers, and following up on outstanding accounts receivable. We nurture a team atmosphere and would like someone that is willing to jump into anything that may come their way. They will be working alongside the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, and the rest of the senior management team. It would be preferred if they had their own transportation as there might be some traveling

QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicants must have successfully completed a 2 year diploma in Business, preferably in Accounting.
- Applicants must have 3-4 years work experience in an accounting department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of Google Sheets
- Data entry skills are essential
- Applicants must possess the ability to perform the duties with a high level of accuracy within an established timeframe. Time management skills are fundamental to this position.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload
- Proven written and oral communication and customer service skills are required
- The individual must be a self starter but also have the ability to work as a member of a team at all times.
- Applicants must be highly adaptable and willing to grow and take on additional workload
- Must have their own transportation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
