Sample Room Associate/warehouse

Are you someone with strong analytical skills, who enjoy working with various departments and a high degree of accuracy? We're seeking a Payroll Administrator with a dynamic personality and a drive to reach decision-makers and build relationships.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Warehouse Associate designated to the sample room will pick, pack and process sample requests through the internal system (Clippership). They will process items for special projects and shows, place sample room stock orders and complete warehouse duties as required.

**Location**:
Located at our head office at 36, Vimy Street, Acton, Ontario, Canada

**Responsibilities**:

- Completing sample orders; pick, examine gloves for quality, pack, and process samples
- Ensure samples are shipped out accurately and in a timely fashion
- Coordinate workflow / tasks; prioritize rush orders as well as regular volume orders
- Cross train other team members on sample room processes as required
- Coverage for other areas of the warehouse as needed
- Follow and comply with all operational procedures and policies
- Assist with pre-pack trials to improve service level
- Assist with transfer of products from warehouse to sample room
- Adding stock to appropriate locations
- Assist in large project orders - picking, packing and shipping ordersInventory Support
- Aligning processes with managing inventory in our inventory database and physical inventory in sample room locations
- Re-Label existing locations with updated stickers
- Assist in organizing sample room locations for ease of picking product
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Minimum one (1) year of warehouse / shipping experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Must be proficient with ERP and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience with handheld / RF scanner
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Good problem-solving skills
- An ability to understand when an issue needs to be escalated.
- Strong record keeping/documentation skills.
- Ability to use judgement to determine if the gloves are of good quality.
- Must be adaptable to fast and ongoing changes in priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 39.5 per week
