Rate of Pay: $17/hr.

Position Overview
We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek Banquet Facility team as building support worker to support the cleaning and set up of facility. We are looking for someone who holds themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service.

- Must be able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekdays, and weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability is a must)
- Must provide a recent police check

**Responsibilities**:

- Make any set-up changes the client requests the day of the event.
- Perform cleaning duties including but not limited to cleaning, supply replenishing and maintaining restrooms, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning windows etc.
- Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers etc.
- Setup and tear down the outdoor ceremony sites as needed.
- On a continuous basis, keep service corridors, common areas, and storage areas clean, organized, and unobstructed.
- Empty all garbage’s in the office spaces
- Recommend maintenance and repair to the management and ensure the proper housekeeping of all function space (as applicable).
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager (Helping with golf carts, kitchen etc.)

Qualifications:

- Excellent people and communication skills. Must be proficient in English
- Previous event/cleaning experience is an asset
- Proven experience setting space in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, manage time, and work well under pressure
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a variety of schedules including daytime, evenings, nights, and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part time seasonal, depending on volume of business
