Strathroy, Canada Cap Building Systems Full time

CAP Building Systems, located in Strathroy, is hiring a full-time Sheet Metal Assistant. This role does not require previous fabricating experience, but previous experience using basic hand tools is an asset. We are looking for those who would like long term employment with a growing company.

**Job Details**:

- Assist Sheet Metal Worker assembling and finishing sign pieces and other products
- Assemble finished parts and load them onto trucks
- Transport materials and parts both manually and using a forklift
- Work with some computerized equipment, including CNC
- Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Friday 7am - 12pm
- Wage starts at $20.00/hour, based on experience
- Starts immediately
- **Requirements**:

- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn a variety of skills
- Excellent attention to detail is imperative
- Must be flexible to take on diverse tasks and priorities
- Must have computer skills, ability to operate CNC equipment would be an asset
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, twist and perform some heavy lifting
- Experience working with sheet metal or in woodworking is an asset
- Completion of high school or equivalent is an asset
- Must be able to use basic hand tools
- A forklift license is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 41 per week
