Front Desk Associate

We are searching for to a **Front Desk Agent** to join our Front office team at the **Comfort Inn & Suites Calgary Airport South.**
**POSITION PROFILE**
As a Front Desk agent your commitment to being part of a team that extends service to our guests will play a key role in our ability to accomplish our goals.
**Essential Job Duties**:
- Welcome guests with an appropriate greeting and consistently provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
- Process reservations as per brand standards.
- Offer loyalty rewards, upsells and property features/benefits
- Demonstrate professionalism all the time and comply with company standards of appearance
- Communicate with other departments to ensure guest requests are resolved without delay
- Promote Hotel rewards program and provide details regarding membership and benefits
- Follow health & safety and emergency policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
- Great attention to details and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively and independently with mínimal supervision
- Handles negative situation and conflict in a constructive mode utilizing interpersonal and communication skills and techniques taught and promoted within the company
- Participating in implementing and maintaining a high level of guest service and professional standards, Takes Pride in job well done
Other Task during the shift:
- Clean and Mop the Lobby area and breakfast room, making coffee for the coffee station as well as provide the service to the guest if they required any room supply.
**Physical Requirements**
- Lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Standing for extended periods of time
**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2-year customer service experience, previous hotel experiences an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite and hotel computer system/program is preferred
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
