**Requirements**:
Have or be about to obtain, by the date of appointment, a PhD in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, data science, or any other related field.
Express oneself adequately in writing and orally in French, or commit to doing so within a reasonable timeframe.
Have the ability to teach and develop an independent research program in actuarial science. Selection criterias
Relevance of university education and experience in relation to the identified field, and commitment to pursuing activities in actuarial sciences.
Ability in university teaching and in mentoring students across all three academic cycles.
Demonstrated research skills and the potential to develop a productive, independent, and original research program.
Interest and ability to work in a team.
Willingness to contribute to internal activities.
Alignment of the profile with key competencies for the teaching role: autonomy, creativity and innovation, interpersonal skills, open-mindedness and flexibility, planning and results orientation.
An Associate or Fellow title from a North American actuarial association is an asset. Hiring and treatment
