Purpose of Role:
As a Sales Manager, you will provide effective and collaborative leadership for the inside and outside sales team as a part of Weir ESCO’s Carriere Industrial Supply group in Sudbury. You will be responsible for providing recommendations and customer information in the development and implementation of product improvements and new products to meet the needs of the market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Fosters an engaging work culture by encouraging innovation, teamwork, and personal commitment. Ensures all employees receive necessary coaching and development to do their best work. Recruits, manages and is responsible for providing on-going training to sales staff. Takes an active role in supporting sales team by interacting with customers through site visits and presentations.- Market Strategy: Lead and direct sales strategy for acquiring new business. Maintains and updates strategic business plans in support of business growth and routinely meets with the management group to develop sales strategies and goals to support local and division markets.- Financial Management: Responsible for driving and delivering key financial results, expanding core and complementary products and services; maximizing sales year over year while ensuring and maintaining appropriate profit margins.- Analytics: Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. Analyze and evaluate sales metrics, goals, and performance. Develops reporting and analytics that support planning and forecasting.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:- Must have previous experience leading sales teams in a mining manufacturing environment - machining and fabrication, preferred- Ability to create and foster excellent customer rapport and relationships-
- Must be willing to work both in the office and be out in the field 50% of the time.
