**Main Responsibilities**:

- Manage inventory by identifying shortfalls and surpluses, assess inventory age and ensure proper positioning at all distribution centres
- Monitor and follow up on inventory rotation at all distribution centres
- Communicate pack requirements to all growers and packhouses
- Provide daily updates to sales staff regarding aging inventory, building inventory, opportunities for sales
- Adjust order placement as required to ensure timely inventory turnover and to maximize distribution efficiency
- Establish and maintain safety stock levels at assigned distribution centres
- Review ad draw and make recommendations regarding size management, communicate to all departments affected
- Determine inventory shortages and make recommendations for purchases
- Work closely with procurement to facilitate purchases; specs, volumes, styles, and packaging
- Complete ad hoc reports
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Degree or diploma in administration, business, or a related field
- Minimum two years’ experience in produce industry preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Solid analysis and critical thinking skills required
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing demands of production and team member issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of FAMOUS software considered an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- After hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands
- Occasional overtime
- Extended periods of sitting
