**What you will be doing**:

- Effect repairs on equipment such as tractors, John Deere Gators, conveyor belts, potting machine, nursery wagons, irrigation systems, as needed.
- Establish and carry out preventative maintenance schedules.
- Perform minor repairs on any building or structures, as required.
- Maintain an efficient and clean workshop.
- Oversee the current stock of electric, pneumatic and hand tools, and purchase more as necessary.
- Be the company contact for any outside vendors such as electricians, heating contractors, welders, fabricators, etc.
- Seek replacement parts or equipment, either from established vendors, or by sourcing new vendors.
- Maintain a detailed repair and maintenance log.
- Maintain a stock of key spare parts such as bearings, fuses, chains, starter motors, wheel spindles, etc.

**What we need from you**:

- Experience with engine repair and an interest in fixing things in general
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize.
- An ability to communicate and articulate.
- A high level of initiative to work alone and prioritize a daily work load.
- An ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
- Experience with Excel for keeping logs and records.
- An understanding of schematics and blueprints for the sake of identifying equipment parts.
- A competent and safe handling of tools.
- Must possess a valid class 5 license.

Possession of a forklift certificate is preferred but not essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
