**Job Summary**
- The Faculty of Management is recognized for its innovative, values-based approach to management education and research. Graduates are leaders and managers in the business sector, public sector, and civil society who live the Faculty’s vision of inspiring transformational solutions. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Academic, the Assistant Dean, Planning & Accreditation is a leadership role in the Faculty of Management’s planning, policy development, and decision-making processes through the curation, analysis, and dissemination of data from multiple sources. They are accountable for overseeing the proactive creation and presentation of timely and accurate reporting on the entire range of Faculty of Management educational, research and administrative activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Working with Program Directors in two undergraduate and six graduate programs, undertakes predictive analytics to project course requirements and anticipated adjustments for coming years, considering historic and recent enrolment trends, and multiple other factors that affect fluctuations in enrolments.
- In consultation with Department Chairs, ensures faculty member teaching assignments are equitably aligned with Faculty workload policy and anticipated faculty leaves.
- Supports and guides the Associate Dean, Academic and Program Directors to ensure accreditation standards are reviewed on a regular basis and to identify any areas of non-compliance.
- Applies project management methods, leads results-oriented and collaborative project teams, and works effectively with other stakeholders and external contacts to achieve accreditation project deliverables and success.
- Recommends and persuades members of the leadership team in the adoption of best practice/tools to support data-driven, evidence-based decision-making and provide leadership in change management related to these improvements.

**Note**
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.

**Required Qualifications**
- Master’s degree, preferably in business administration or information management, plus seven years’ professional experience working in a related field, in a complex organization (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Strong professional background in information management and analysis and solid understanding of enterprise data.
- Expertise in data software and programs, such as Excel, Oracle Tableau, SPSS, etc.
- Proven tact and diplomacy. Ability to interact, using tact and discretion, both within the Faculty and across institutional academic and administrative units, engaging with senior leaders and peers.
- Experienced in the complexities of human resource allocation in professional unionized environments with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated willingness to take initiative in a high-pressure environment with changing deadlines and priorities with strong organizational skills, time, and priority management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to think critically, analyze, evaluate, and distill information to a variety of audiences.
