**Summary**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Land Lease Facilities Attendant will work closely with the Community Manager, clean, open and secure the Community Pool area, enforce community rules, monitor the pool and report on any irregularities observed.
**This position is located in Essex, Ontario.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor pool attendees’ access and behaviour while ensuring compliance with community rules and health regulations including capacity limits.
- Clean, check pool chemical level and test, as necessary.
- Open and lock doors and gates of entrances and exits to the swimming pool area.
- Perform a walkthrough around the swimming pool area to ensure doors, windows, and gates are secured at end of day.
- Cover the swimming pool at closing.
- Observe and communicate irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences in the pool area to the Community and Operations Manager.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of an emergency.
- Water plants and maintain a surrounding area clean and organized including moving and stacking chairs and tables.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Pool maintenance and monitoring experience preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of procedures and strategies to lock and secure commercial facility.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Professional and respectful demeanor.
- Good observation and decision-makings skills with sensible judgment.
- WHMIS, CPR and First AID Certification is an asset.
