**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
We are looking for **tradespeople** who have experience with** Drywall, Carpentry, Painting, Minor plumbing & electrical work.**

No licensing is required

This role will be based out of our Eastside Production Facility in Etobicoke with occasional travel to other locations in the GTA.

The hours of work will be **7:30 AM to 4:00 PM**.**

**WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE**
- Ensure all the work performed on the site’s Infrastructure, Equipment, Systems and Building Services are at a level that meets Deciem’s safety, regulatory compliance and/or applicable government guidelines and codes. Report problems /failures that may impact the production/organisation to your supervisor/manager immediately
- Effective perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, replacing lamps, masonry, basic carpentry, repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors, other building fixtures, replacing HVAC filters
- Assist in winter maintenance management, office moving, event management, etc.
- Perform routine checks on facility areas, equipment, numerous systems, and respond to repair requests (CMMS WO)
- Attend weekly ‘Toolbox’ meetings for reviewing issues /improve planning, scheduling tasks /suggestions/support and effective communication.
- Ensure 100% compliance with the CMMS assigned work orders, PM and CM tasks
- Respond in a timely manner to CM (Corrective Maintenance) or RM (Repair Maintenance) work order requests and CM/RM work orders to be initiated and closed in the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) on a regular basis
- Ensure complete compliance with Daily PM tasks, including verifying the natural gas generator oil/operation, water testing for Boiler, Purified Water System, Water Management system, Daily facility check, Safety Check
- Ensure complete compliance with Daily inspection and maintaining high housekeeping standards (adopt 5S) in all mechanical rooms (Boiler/Purified Water System/Air Compressor Room/Wastewater System, etc.)
- As required, assist/supervise/escort the facility contractors (example: Pest Control) and ensure that they are complying with the Deciem GMP, Security/Avetta/Safety Permit and HSE policies

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE**
- Drywall, Plumbing, Painting, Minor electrical & plumbing experience
- Good written and oral communication
- Working under pressure and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
