**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Events and Marketing Coordinator to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program. As an Events and Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events while supporting our marketing efforts. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or graduating student with a passion for event planning, marketing, and communications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Event Planning and Coordination:_
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events to promote our organization and engage with our target audiences.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, equipment rentals, and budget tracking.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution and maximize participant satisfaction.
- Develop event timelines, checklists, and contingency plans to ensure seamless operations.
- Marketing and Communications:_
- Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's marketing and communications strategies.
- Create engaging and informative marketing materials, including press releases, newsletters, and promotional content.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency and alignment with brand identity and messaging.
- Utilize social media platforms and digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence and reach a wider audience.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Event Promotion and Outreach:_
- Identify and pursue promotional opportunities to expand our event participant base and reach new audiences.
- Develop marketing strategies, toolkits, and materials to attract new event clients and sponsors.
- Tailor event messaging and promotional activities to resonate with diverse demographic groups.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the events industry to enhance our network and partnerships.
- Website and Content Management:

- Assist in launching a new website and contribute to its ongoing maintenance and updates.
- Create and curate engaging content, including blog posts, articles, and visuals, to keep the website fresh and relevant.
- Support the development of a bi-monthly e-newsletter to keep subscribers informed about upcoming events and initiatives.
- Update and maintain event listings, calendar, and relevant information on the website.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Recent graduate or graduating student in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling marketing content.
