**Job Duties**
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is required
- Performs guest room housekeeping duties or laundry functions when required
- Trains and motivates housekeeping and laundry personnel
- Collaborates with maintenance staff
- Organizes the daily functions and duties of housekeeping department in conjunction with Room Division Manager
- Maintains and conducts regular inventories of all supplies and equipment
- Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules
- Evaluate Guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement
- Inspects quality of linens and advises the Rooms Division Manager on purchasing requirements
- Inspects guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality assurance
- Monitors and trains with cleaning products to improve efficiencies
- Maintains and oversees the required process to ensure regular deep cleaning and preventive maintenance

**General Knowledge,Skill and Ability**
- Fluent in the English language(written and verbal)
- Requires ability to select, train, evaluate, motivate and discipline as needed
- Operates the department within given cost controls
- Requires the ability to follow and five directions (verbal and written)
- Requires the ability to work without direct supervision
- Requires the ability to work with our computerized Property Management System
- Requires the completion of high school or equivalency
- Requires the completion of WHMIS Training
- First aid certification an asset
- Must be Canadian Citizen, landed immigrant or have current Working Visa legally work in Canada others need not apply

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
