**About the Job**

SQM Janitorial Services Inc. is a leader in delivering high-quality janitorial services across Canada, with over two decades of experience in various industries. With a dedicated team of over 300 skilled professionals, we consistently exceed our clients' expectations in cleaning services.

We are currently expanding and seeking an HR Manager to shape and enhance our Human Resources department. This role involves managing and improving our HR policies, programs, and practices, and reports directly to the CEO. This position requires a commitment to a five-day workweek in our Mississauga office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and uphold HR best practices that align with industry standards, legislation, and our corporate goals.
- Manage and archive HR records effectively.
- Advise leadership on employee relations, ensuring adherence to policies and legal standards.
- Manage compensation, including rewards and recognition for outstanding performance.
- Oversee annual reviews, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Promote a culture of safety and high performance, working collaboratively to meet goals and deadlines.
- Develop staffing strategies, including recruitment, interviewing, and conducting exit interviews.
- Manage employee benefits programs, analyzing needs and overseeing benefit claims processing.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager.
- CHRP/CHRL certification is advantageous.
- 5-7+ years in various HR roles, with a strong generalist background.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
