**Transdev is hiring Casual Paratransit Operators (Drivers) for our Regina, SK location.**

We are offering a Competitive Hourly Rate starting at $17.55/hr, up to $26.01/hr

**Your role**:

- **Passenger Assistance**: Safely and courteously assist passengers with boarding, securing mobility devices, and disembarking from the vehicle.
- **Safe Operation**: Operate Paratransit vehicles following all traffic regulations, company safety protocols, and accessible transportation standards.
- **Route Adherence**: Follow assigned routes and schedules, making stops at designated locations to ensure passengers' timely arrival at their destinations.
- **Safety and Sensitivity**: Provide a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment for passengers, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
- **Vehicle Maintenance**: Conduct pre
- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance issues to the maintenance team.

**Your profile**:

- You have a valid Class 4 Driver's License **(Must-Have)**.
- You have clean driving record.
- You have strong customer service skills and empathy for passengers with disabilities.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
- You must be able to lift 50lbs.
- You must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing and background checks.
- Prior experience in passenger transportation, especially with individuals with disabilities, is an asset.

**Your location**:

- This is a casual, unionized position in Regina, SK.
- Causal work schedule can be 20-40 hours per week, there is no set or regular schedule.
Weekdays (typically): Early shifts 6am - 10am, OR Late shifts 2pm - 6pm, approximately.
Weekends (typically): 7am-7pm, approximately.
