Steven Cavar Professional Corporation, a well-established local accounting firm, is seeking a **full-time bookkeeper** to help serve our growing client base.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Providing bookkeeping services to our clients including the preparation of payroll, source deductions, HST returns, WSIB remittances, etc.
- Meeting all applicable filing deadlines
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Assisting with preparation of personal tax returns (training provided)
- Assisting with various administration tasks

**What we’re looking for**:

- Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience preferred
- Comfortable using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Sage, Xero, CaseWare, or similar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, SharePoint, Outlook and Teams
