The **Sales Operations and Contracts Specialist** is responsible for supporting the Canadian Sales Team as an interface between the Sales and Corporate Groups (Legal, Compliance, Finance and Marketing), ensuring development and maintenance of processes and systems, focused on improving productivity, and contracting/pricing accuracy. The position is responsible for creating and processing quotes, drafting agreements and proposals while providing sales administration support to the Commercial operation. This position reports to the Senior Sales Operations and Contracts Manager.
This position is part of the Americas Business Operations Team and will be **REMOTE** in Canada. In Business Operations, our vision is to ensure that every customer (internal/external) is fully supported throughout the quoting, pricing and contracting process. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Provide support to a specified Sales Region, working with Sales, Order Management Legal and Finance to obtain approval as needed: Draft quotes and agreements in accordance with Cepheid Policies and with guidance from the Legal, Compliance and Finance teams, ensuring a proper terms and conditions review and approvals are obtained for non-standard contracts.
- Coordinate the RFP response process - from opportunity gathering to delivering a quality, timely RFP response package while interacting with the RFP Core Team members and the other support functions at Cepheid.
- Manage the contract and pricing lifecycles from start to finish - implementation in SAP and SFDC, facilitating compliance checks, extensions, pricing discrepancies/increases and expiries. Report on various KPIs, draft relevant processes, working instructions and SOPs and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
**The essential requirements of the job include**
- High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience of work experience in data entry/administrative sales support/contract administration or related work.
- French language proficiency at a professional level, enabling effective collaboration with French-speaking clients and colleagues.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Experience with SAP and/or SFDC, Group purchasing organization
- Contracts management and tender/RFP management
- Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare and customer landscape

The annual salary range for this role is _CAD65,000-CAD72,000_. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
