**Human Resources Coordinator**:
To ensure we deliver exceptional service to both our internal departments as well as external stakeholders, we are recruiting for a Human Resources Professional to join our team as Human Resources Coordinator.

As an excellent communicator with strong initiative, you will be comfortable working independently to promote HR services and engagement activities across the organization.

This is a key member of our HR Team and integral to the day to day operations of the department. We are seeking a high-performing individual with a team-oriented working style, outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and relevant HR technical ability and experience.

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, this generalist position will involve varied and moderately complex administrative work requiring considerable knowledge of Human Resources and applicable HR practises, procedures and policies. This position assists with all stages of the employee life-cycle including: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, job evaluation, occupational health & safety, collective agreement interpretation, labour relations, and employee engagement and retention.

This position will ensure a high level of accuracy on key payroll data so attention to detail and organizational skills are a priority. Building and maintaining strong relationships is integral to this position, as we provide key HR Services to all managers and staff at the City.
