In this role, you’ll contribute to the sector’s mission, which is mainly to offer personal trust services and specialized advice to affluent clients. For more than 90 years, National Bank Trust has been recognized in the industry as a trust partner for several generations of clients. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Actively take part in the sector’s transformation by adopting high client experience standards, suggesting improvements for current processes, acting as the ambassador for change and showing creativity and proactivity.
- Establish and maintain a close relationship with clients by implementing and stringently following up on client experience standards in the Trust and Estate sector. You will be required to prepare reports and regular communications for your clients.
- Be accountable for quality processing of files under your responsibility and their progress. You must regularly communicate their progress to your internal partners, clients and their experts, as applicable.
- Develop business for targeted wealth management sectors (Private Banking 1859 and National Bank Financial). You must develop a close partnership with representatives in these sectors by giving presentations and training sessions to their teams, representing National Bank Trust in meetings with clients and working closely with these partners to drive asset retention.
- Take part in various transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including digitizing processes and client communications.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree and 7 to 10 years of experience, Master Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience
- Customer service experience
- Significant experience in a role as an expert advisor
- Knowledge or experience in estate settlement or trust administration, an asset
- Knowledge in investments or financial planning, an asset
- Organization and priority management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to resolve a wide array of problems as well as complex and ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex notions in plain language
- Ability to build solid professional relationships (internal and external)
- Ability to quickly raise interest and build trust
- Good listening skills needed in order to fully understand clients’ sensitive issues
- Facility for teamwork;
- Availability to travel to Quebec City according to the needs of the clientele, about 1 to 2 times a month
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English.
