Fountain Tire Barrie, an automotive repair shop, is looking for an experienced automotive industry professional to join our team as a service advisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ensuring that all customers are provided with top-notch customer service.
- Creating work orders, arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians.
- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
- Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received.
- Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers.
- Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer, and process all necessary information in the computer system.
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe.
- Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
- Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire.
- Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

Working conditions:

- A team environment where hard work and concise communication are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25kg is required
- Consistent work with computers and communicating on the phone

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry preferred
- Proven track record of high customer satisfaction
- Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer requirements and provide recommendations
- Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
- A team player who takes pride in their work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- service advisor: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
