The City of Laval is looking for an experienced lawyer to join its Land Use Planning and Legislation team. Are you passionate about municipal law, recognized for your ability to independently manage complex files? This position is for you

By joining the Legal Affairs Department of the City of Laval, you will be part of a large public organization with a human dimension that values professional development and work-life balance. As a lawyer, you will act as a legal advisor to all City services.

More specifically, you will be called upon to:

- Act as a legal advisor to the City services;
- Draft regulations, policies, directives applicable to the city and its citizens, and all other legal documents of any kind for the various services;
- Collaborate with services to safeguard the interests of the city and ensure regulatory compliance;
- Collaborate with other divisions in conflict resolution and litigated files;
- Conduct legal research and monitor recent developments;
- Support and contribute to the development of the organization's legal knowledge.

**The ideal profile for us**
- Education acquired through a (BAC) bachelor's degree in law;
- Possess six (6) years of relevant experience;
- Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar;
- Open and motivated to work on diverse topics.
